There are a number of different ski passes available in Les Arcs. Prices vary according to your age, group size, duration, the area(s) you wish to ski and the time of year. Planning ahead can help you make the most of your Les Arcs ski holiday and hopefully save you some money too.  However, if you are planning on having lessons, then it is also worth checking with your ski school beforehand to be sure that you buy the correct pass for your classes.

Deals & discounted ski passes in Les Arcs

Early and late season
Early and late season discounts are available both on Paradiski and Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry ski areas. These are available from 4 hours to 7 days duration and are also available for families of two adults and two children (5-17 years) for 6 and 7 day passes.

The 'Samedi je skie' offer is available when purchasing your one-day Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry ski pass online. Book before Friday at midnight and save money on your Saturday ski pass. You must have a hands-free card to be able to recharge it.

75-year-olds and over
People who are 75 years old and over can purchase a discounted ski pass upon presentation of proof of age.

Disabled skiers
Disabled skiers can get a 50% discount on their ski pass upon presentation of proof of disability (at least 80%).

Free ski passes in Les Arcs

Children under 5 ski for free but you still need to order a ski pass. Proof of age is required at the point of purchase and the child's age on the first day of skiing is taken into account.

Paradiski Area ski-passes (Full area)

If you like clocking up the miles and want to explore every inch of the available terrain, then the Paradiski Pass is the choice for you. With unlimited access to 425kms of piste, 144 lifts and two glaciers, anyone of intermediate ski ability and upwards would undoubtedly get great enjoyment from this pass. It allows you access to the resorts of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and neighbouring La Plagne.

Les Arcs actually offers two versions of the full area Paradiski ski pass: the Essential Pass, which is available throughout the whole of the Paradiski area, and the Premium Pass, which is only on sale in the Les Arcs resorts. Both versions of this pass are available from 1 to 15 days duration and there are also passes for 5 and 10 non-consecutive days.

Paradiski: Essential Pass
If you buy a Paradiski Essential ski pass valid for 6 days or more, then you also get the following advantages included: an extra half-day of skiing offered for free (which must be used on the afternoon prior to your first full day of skiing); access to the priority queue on a number of lifts and a 50% reduction on the queue cutter price at the Aiguille Rouge cable car. It will also entitle you to 50% discount on both the First Tracks activity and the Luge Mille8 & Rodeo toboggan runs, give you one entry to the Igloo Village and one participation in the torchlit descent. You will also get reduced entry at the swimming pool and wellness centre. 

Paradiski: Premium Pass
However, if you buy the Premium version of the Paradiski pass valid for 6 days or more, then you get all of the same benefits as the Essential pass, but with some additional reductions and discounts on certain activities. For example, the priority queuing includes 1 free turn per day on the Aiguille Rouge cable car, the First Tracks activity (with breakfast) is included and you can have unlimited fun on the toboggan runs each day. As well as access to the Igloo Village and torchlit descent, you also get one entry per day for free to the pool and wellness centre.

Ski Areas in Les Arcs

Les Arcs Area ski-passes (Local area)

The Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry Pass (or the Classic Pass) is the local area pass that gives you unlimited access to all the lifts in the Les Arcs domain (including Peisey-Vallandry). There are around 200km of pistes, 54 lifts and an altitude variation from 3,250m to 1,200m.

If you are quite happy skiing at your own pace or perhaps need to stay closer to home to collect the kids from ski school etc, then this pass could be just what you’re after. Available in durations of 4 hours to 15 days. There is also a 10-day non-consecutive version of this pass available.

Pedestrian passes in Les Arcs

Not everyone comes to Les Arcs to ski and, when there are such beautiful panoramas to take in and mountain restaurants to enjoy, we can understand why.

Pedestrian rates are available for single and return journeys on certain lifts, as well as for 1 day and 6 day pass durations should you want to ride the lifts more frequently. These apply to the Funicular from Bourg Saint Maurice, Transarc 1 & 2, Varet, Aiguille Rouge, Arcabulle, Peisey, Vallandry and Vanoise Express lifts. Pedestrian access to the Villards, Jardin Alpin, Cabriolet, Lonzagne, Replat and Dahu lifts is free and the 6 day Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry pedestrian pass also includes a free ticket into the ice cave. Senior pedestrians (75yrs+) can travel for free on the funicular and the Vanoise Express and they get a preferential rate on the Aiguille Rouge cable car. All pedestrian passes can be bought at the Ski Pass Offices in resort.

Ski a la Carte
The "Ski à la carte" system is an annual subscription valid for the whole winter season. Pay only for what you use, all ski days are billed the next month and there is no need to go to the cash desk. Enjoy discounts of between -10% to -15% on the adult's day rate and up to -40% on Saturdays. In addition, you regularly benefit from promotional days of up to 50% discount. The more you ski the more you save with the 9th, 14th, 19th & 24th day skied only billed at €1!

Ski in Tignes, Val d'Isere, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry, Grand Massif, Les 2 Alpes & Serre-Chevalier with the same card. Subscription costs €29 for adults aged 18 to 64 and children's cards are free with the purchase of an adult's or senior (€15) membership.

Luge passes
Children from three to seven years old can enjoy the luge in Mille8 for free, in the company of an adult sharing the sledge. In the Rodeo Park Luge, children must be at least 10 years old and 1.25m tall.

Beginner ski passes in Les Arcs

Multi-trip passes
Cards with one, two, three, five or 10 trips can be purchased for the beginner areas in Les Arcs. They can be used in the Combettes (Arc 1600), Villards (Arc 1800), St Jacques (Arc 2000) and Parchey (Peisey-Vallandry) lifts.

Peisey-Vallandry beginner area only
You can buy a one-day pass which gives you access to the Flocon and Cabri beginner ski areas. From Vallandry, you can get two journeys on the Vallandry chairlift and unlimited use of the Flocon drag lift; whilst from Peisey, you can get two journeys on the Peisey chairlift and unlimited use of the Cabri drag lift.

Restricted Area Passes
It is also possible to buy 1 day passes just for the lifts in certain parts of the ski area, including the beginner areas in Les Arcs, Villaroger and Peisey-Vallandry. If you just want to practice your turns for a bit on some of the resorts more gentle slopes, this pass might suit you best.

Ski schools and lessons
If you are a complete beginner, then it is likely that you will be joining a ski school for most of your stay so it is worth discussing with them which pass option is best suited for their beginner groups. There are sometimes also special deals available on lift passes when bought in conjunction with lessons, so it’s always worth asking.

Beginner Ski Areas in Les Arcs

Group ski passes in Les Arcs

Both the Paradiski and the Les Arcs/Vallandry pass offer discounts for groups of skiers. If you're skiing in a group of two or three and more, you can buy a Duo or Tribu ski pass. Your group can be made up of adults or children but all the passes must be bought online, at the same time, for the same ski area and in one payment to receive the discount. Children and seniors will need to show proof of age.

Groups of 15 or more need to enquire for a quote. Once you've received your quote, you pay for the passes on arrival in resort.

Family ski passes in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is very proud to have been awarded "Family Plus Mountain" status for both winter and summer seasons. This means that the resort has been recognised for its high standard of accommodation, facilities and range of activities suitable for families and children. The resort also offers a discount rate for Family Ski Passes.

Family rates are available to two adults and a minimum of two children aged 5 to 17 years. All family members pay the child's rate. To benefit from the discount, at least four ski passes must be bought at the same time for the same duration and ski area. You will need to order these passes at least two days in advance of your arrival in resort to allow time for the order to be processed. Children and seniors require proof of age, either at the moment of sale or in resort, and it is the age on the first day of skiing that is taken into account. Family passes are available from six to 15 days duration.
