Aquatic & Fitness Centre - Mille 8, Les Arcs - 1800

This huge 3800m² centre incorporates an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, water jets, bubble beds, massage jets, fitness room with gym and cardio equipment, spa with two steam rooms and two saunas, relaxation room and showers.

There's an area designated specifically for children with a river splash and games area, as well as waterfalls, a cave, a number of sunbeds to recline on around the pools and a large outside space with views over the surrounding mountains. In the swimming pool, there's a race lane for the more serious swimmers. The wellness area has two hammams, a sauna, a relaxation room and a shower area.

The centre is open every day from 10:00 to 19:00 (fitness area from 10:00) except Tuesdays and Thursdays when it's open until 20:00 and Saturdays when it's open 14:00 to 19:30 (fitness area from 13:00).

Right in the heart of Arc 2000, Bowling des Arcs 2000 is the ultimate après-ski and evening destination for all ages. Open daily from five pm until two am - or earlier if the weather closes the slopes - it’s the perfect spot to relax, play, and socialise after a day on the mountains.

The venue offers a wide range of activities to suit everyone. Enjoy a few frames on the bowling lanes, challenge friends in the billiard and games room, or simply unwind with a drink in the lively sports bar. For sports fans, the bar is unbeatable: eight screens, some up to 120 inches, broadcast all major live events, so you won’t miss your team’s match while on holiday.

4. Vital'Gym, Bourg St Maurice

This fitness centre offers an adult gym, cardio-step classes, gymnastics coaching, chi ball, pilates and nordic walking. There are lots of courses running through the week.

Whether you want to build strength or just fancy trying something new there are plenty of activities to choose from, both adults and children.

L'Eterlou Cinema, Vallandry

5. L'Eterlou Cinema

This small, old-school cinema is located in the centre of the village of Vallandry. Perfect when you want to do something different in the evenings or when the weather isn't particularly good.

With a capacity of 150 people, this cinema is open from mid-December to the end of April, coinciding with the winter season. They offer two screenings per day, with additional screenings scheduled when the weather is bad.

Films are usually dubbed in French with occasional English-language films shown. There are discounts for children and seniors.

6. Le Coeur d'Or Cinema, Bourg Saint Maurice

This cinema, located on the outskirts of Bourg Saint Maurice, has three screens, the largest of which seats 186 people. 

They usually screen the latest releases in their original version (usually in English) with French subtitles. Look out for the 'VO' ('Version Originale') mention.

There are discounts for children, students and seniors as well as annual 10-screening vouchers.
