Aquatic & Fitness Centre - Mille 8, Les Arcs - 1800

1. Mille8 aquatic and fitness centre

Swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas

Location: Arc 1800

This huge 3800m² centre incorporates an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, water jets, bubble beds, massage jets, fitness room with gym and cardio equipment, spa with two steam rooms and two saunas, relaxation room and showers.

There's an area designated specifically for children with a river splash and games area, as well as waterfalls, a cave, a number of sunbeds to recline on around the pools and a large outside space with views over the surrounding mountains. In the swimming pool, there's a race lane for the more serious swimmers. The wellness area has two hammams, a sauna, a relaxation room and a shower area.

The centre is open every day from 10:00 to 19:00 (fitness area from 10:00) except Tuesdays and Thursdays when it's open until 20:00 and Saturdays when it's open 14:00 to 19:30 (fitness area from 13:00).

2. Patinoire Naturelle (Ice Rink)

Natural outdoor ice rink in Les Arcs 2000

Location: Arc 2000

In Place de la Patinoire you will find the natural outdoor ice skating rink.

This large natural rink is perfect for some après ski fun and can make for a great day out with the family.

Open every day during the winter season, you can skate every evening, skate hire is available on site.

3. Vital'Gym, Bourg St Maurice

Fitness centre with dance classes, gymnastics & activities

This fitness centre offers an adult gym, cardio-step classes, gymnastics coaching, chi ball, pilates and nordic walking. There are lots of courses running through the week.

Whether you want to build strength or just fancy trying something new there are plenty of activities to choose from, both adults and children.

4. Centre Nautique

Indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool

This 25m indoor swimming pool is open all year round with the exception of 1st January & 5th August. The outdoor pool is only open in July & August.

If you're swimming indoors the large windows still give you a great view of the mountains. There is an additional outdoor area for children up to 6 years of age. The lawn that surrounds the outdoor pool is perfect for sunbathing and there is a small cafe for snacks and refreshments.

The centre also offers many activities, including swimming schools, water aerobics, diving and kayaking.

It costs 4.50€ for adults and 3.00€ for children, but if you have a 6 day ski pass for Les Arcs or Paradiski, it's free.
