featured in Snow report Author Woody J, Les Arcs Reporter Updated

Whoo hoo the winter has finally arrived (well it’s cold at least!) and we are eagerly awaiting some more snow. I’m sure you have all seen the various reports on the current snow levels in resort at the moment so here is some definitive info and some local insider knowledge on what is actually happening in Les Arcs / La Plagne for the opening day Saturday 13th December.

This information has been taken from the Les Arcs press release so is the most up to date. Although there isn’t too much snow in resort at the moment they are putting on extra bus timetables to help guests access the ski areas that will be open.

So whether you are in 1600, 1800, 2000 or Peisey-Vallandry you will be able to get on your ski’s/board and go for a shred. Due to the reduced number of lifts and runs open at the beginning of the season there will be a reduced Ski Pass rate of 25€ per person which will be available daily.

The new swimming pool complex and Aqua centre will be open from Monday 15th December and this is based in Arc 1800.

LES ARCS UPDATE:

As well as the above lifts working they are putting on extra bus services to get you to the snow. From Arc 1600 busses will run to Arc 2000 and to Arc 1800 to then access Arc 2000 via the Transarc Telecabin. From Peisey Vallandry buses will run to Arc 1800 to access Arc 2000 via the Transarc Telecabin.
