Les Arcs airport transfers: find the best ways to get here

Les Arcs is a 2h45 drive from Geneva Airport. You could hire a car, but with so many transfer companies running shuttles to the resort, why not take it easy and let someone else do the work?
With an airport transfer:
The price of a one-way transfer from Geneva to Les Arcs starts at around €60, going up to €250 for a private transfer.
If you’re after something a bit fancier and most definitely faster, the sky can literally be the limit with a private helicopter transfer taking off from €3,000.

Shared transfers
You'll be on a bus with passengers arriving at the airport at a similar time to you.
These tend to be cheaper, although you might have to wait a little while before your bus leaves (typically not more than an hour).
If your transfer is a door-to-door service, you may also have to wait for other passengers to be dropped off in resort. On the plus side, you'll get to discover parts of Les Arcs you didn't know existed.
Private transfers
You or your group travel alone.
With this type of transfer, there's no waiting around. You can leave the airport as soon as you've cleared customs. The down side is that this is a much more expensive way to travel, and private transfers are not always available.
Public bus transfers run from the airports to Les Arcs in the winter season, especially during weekends.
These transfers won't drop you at your door, but they are great value.
They stop at several places along the route and you may need to make a connection in Bourg Saint Maurice, where the funicular goes up to Arc 1600 (which takes around 15 minutes). From here you can take buses to Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.
A bus also runs between the Bourg Saint Maurice train station and the villages in Les Arcs every Saturday in winter.
From Bourg Saint Maurice to Arc 1800, the bus transfer time is 30 minutes or 50 minutes to Arc 1600. It's a bit longer to get from Bourg Saint Maurice to Arc 1950 (1h10) and to Arc 2000 (1h45) by bus.
