Traditional French and Savoyarde cuisine in Les Arcs 2000 resort.

This rooftop restaurant and bar offers great food which can be enjoyed inside the stylish restaurant or on the expansive sunny terrace, facing the highest peaks of Les Arcs.

Settle in and enjoy a relaxing and easy lunch experience, with fast service and live outdoor concerts during the afternoons.

In the evening, the restaurant welcomes you inside to enjoy their traditional cuisine, with a strong focus on terroir (local) products and a real passion for wine. The large menu offers a range of French meat and fish dishes, as well as Savoyarde specialities. Vegetarian options are also available. Peruse the excellent wine list and you'll find something to please all tastes and desires.

Open every day during the winter for lunch 12:00 to 13:30 and dinner 18:30 to 21:30. Reservation is required and bookings can be made online or by phone.

This family-run restaurant is close to the pistes is a perfect stop-off for an easy lunch or a cosy dinner.

On the small menu you'll surely find something to please, with a selection of meat and vegetarian options, as well as local Savoyarde favourites including sharing fondues, raclette and tartiflette. Not forgetting the enticing home-made tarts and desserts to finish.

Each day you'll also be offered a new menu du jour, with a simple and affordable two-course menu selected by the chef.

Enjoy your meal within the cosy and traditional-style restaurant, or on the sunny terrace.

The owners and staff welcome you for lunch and dinner with quick and friendly service.

3. Casa Mia Restaurant

Home-made pizzas, pastas and risottos served in generous quantities in a friendly atmosphere.

Enjoy the excellent and varied pizza menu in the restaurant or to take-away, but the cosy restaurant interior and friendly staff will surely entice you in. Their pizzas are generously topped with quality ingredients, including burrata, sundried tomatoes, and traditional Italian Parma ham.

Also on the menu are delicious Italian pasta and gnocci dishes, and you can also find Savoyarde favourites, such as the traditional fondue, and French classics include beef tartare.

Open all afternoon for lunch and dinner from midday to 22:00. Able to accommodate groups, booking recommended.

Wood Bear Cafe, Les Arcs 1950

4. Wood Bear café

Divided into two levels, this small café is a great place to enjoy a hot drink with a snack or a larger lunch.

They have range of breakfast options, including the 'English' egg and bacon bagel, cakes and coffees. The lunch and snacking menu has a varied selection of sandwiches, salads, tarts and burgers and charcuterie platters, as well as a wide range of cakes and biscuits which you can enjoy at any time of day on their pleasant terrace. They also offer free wifi for clients!

Open during the season, every day from 08:00 to 20:00 (until 19:00 on Wednesdays and 21:00 on Saturdays).

Find it just above the gondola and close to the ice rink - look out for the red phone box.

Chalet des Colosses has a varied menu of local delicacies and is very much famed for its food and reputation.

The views are great looking directly up the mountain or over to Bellecôte itself and the Arpette chair in the distance. Unlike the majority of other businesses and eateries in Bellecôte, the Chalet is separate to the main structure, sitting up the hill a little from the main Roche de Mio gondola station.

They serve a mixed international menu including vegetarian options and curries, as well as traditional mountain dishes such as fondue, raclette or pierrade.

There is also a small ice rink by the restaurant to start burning off those cheese calories.

6. La Bergerie de Raphael

Raphael will guide you along the path of Savoy gastronomy allowing you to appreciate the rich flavours of the valley.

In their authentic chalet where the log fire crackles and the brasses shine, everything will be done for your comfort and your holiday enjoyment.

Open both winter and summer they offer a variety of dishes changing throughout the seasons, trying keep it traditional whilst utilising what the valley has to offer that season.

7. Au Refuge Gourmand Restaurant

This restaurant specialises in traditional Alpine food such as fondue and tartiflette, as well as burgers, soups and salads.

You're also welcome to call in for snacks, pancakes, mulled wine and après-ski drinks. This restaurant is popular but very small, so booking is advised.

Open daily during the winter season.

Chalet Grillette in Les Arcs is a popular slope-side restaurant offering a creative mix of Savoyard classics, daily specials and generous, flavour-packed burgers. With fresh, high-quality ingredients, homemade desserts and a tempting cocktail list, there’s something for everyone. Its sunny terrace makes it a favourite spot for leisurely lunches or relaxed après-ski drinks, providing a welcoming, lively atmosphere where guests can enjoy delicious food and stunning mountain views in the heart of the resort.

This modern mountain restaurant sits right on the blue Grands Mélèzes piste and is well known for its warm welcome, generous portions and buzzing terrace. The menu goes beyond the usual mountain fare, offering daily specials like tortillas and stir-fries, alongside grilled meats, roast chicken and hearty burgers with all the trimmings. 

Vegetarians are well looked after too, with options that are far more interesting than your standard cheesy carb-fest. Everything is made using fresh produce, including the indulgent home-made desserts, and there's a tempting cocktail list if you're settling in for the afternoon. 

With great food, friendly service and stunning views from the terrace, it's a top spot whether you're after a quick bite or a longer lunch in the sun.

La Popote in Arc 1800 boldly claims to serve the best burgers in town, and its many fans would agree. This diner-style spot offers a tempting menu of burgers, hot dogs and bretzels, all served with generous portions and classic flair. Perfect for a quick bite between runs or a more relaxed sit-down treat, La Popote combines hearty, satisfying food with a friendly, casual atmosphere, making it a favourite destination for both locals and visitors in the heart of the resort.

It’s a small space with a proper American diner feel, so grab a table if you can or go for a speedy takeaway instead. Leave room for something sweet; the chocolate bretzel with Nutella is a winner, or check the board for the dessert of the day.
