ESF (Ecole du Ski Francais) carries out annual training programmes for its instructors to ensure that they are all proficient in the use of standing (Uniski or Dualski) and seated (Ski Chair and Nordic Sledge) adaptive equipment. They are also qualified to guide partially sighted and blind skiers around the pistes.
They adapt lessons to suit your individual needs, whether you are learning or perfecting your technique either independently or in a Sit-Ski. Their aims are to:
The types of skiing and equipment available are independent skiing (learning) with a Uniski, Dualski or Kart Ski, Piloted seated skiing with a Dualski or Tandem-Ski, and Upright skiing for amputees or partially sighted skiers.
Both children and adults are catered for and the instructors are passionate about giving you the ultimate skiing experience, whatever your disability. You are advised to book at least 15 days in advance and then to confirm one week before arrival, to ensure that the most appropriate equipment is available for your lesson.

All public transport is accessible and the car parks have dedicated disabled parking places. The Bourg St Maurice car park has reserved disabled parking, free in summer and payable in winter. Adapted public toilets are located near the church.
Les Arcs offers accommodation with disabled facilities and you can contact the tourist office for a list of approved hotels and residences.

The Nautique de Bourg St Maurice centre has disabled parking, changing rooms, footpaths and dedicated showers and toilets, and access to the different areas are easily facilitated.
La piscine d'Arc 1800 has the same facilities as above with an additional wellness area, however the pool is not directly accessible by car and you will need to park in the Charvet car park.
Tandem paragliding in summer and winter is possible, and a walk in the marshes of Bourg St Maurice along La Voie Verte is fitted out to adapt to all types of mobility.
