The 52nd Les Arcs Academy Festival takes place this summer and this year's theme is nature.
Some highlights will include the second edition of the now traditional “Jazz in Les Arcs,” dedicated this year to Duke Ellington, echoing a wonderful tribute concert to Stéphane Grappelli.
There will also be a concert dedicated to the Waltz, and since we're talking about dance, the event is set to welcome two exceptional dancers in a choreography by Benjamin Millepied, who is now a regular at the festival.
In addition look out for a Bach day, a Chopin recital, conferences, public master classes, various screenings around Glenn Gould or David Oistrakh, carte-blanche events, concerts for children, performances by approximately 160 trainees, concerts from the vocal department—some of them staged—young talents concerts, open-air or off-site concerts... and to top it off, all concerts are FREE!!!
