Sights & Sites in Les Arcs

If you’ve invested in the Paradiski lift pass, you’ll find that Les Arcs offers plenty of extras that make unforgettable family excursions. You can take the Vanoise Express across the mountains to explore La Plagne, ride the funicular up to Arc 2000 for incredible panoramic views and to visit the Village Igloo, where you can explore a magical ice cave filled with hand-carved sculptures, wander through snow tunnels and enjoy a unique mountain experience away from the slopes.

Even a simple mountain outing can become an adventure; you can follow snowy walking trails, explore the forests around the villages, or take a scenic ride on the lifts just to enjoy the views and a hot chocolate stop along the way.

Les Arcs has plenty of dedicated spaces and activities designed to keep younger visitors entertained away from the ski slopes. Head to one of the resort’s family-friendly play areas, where children can enjoy snowy adventures with fun zones, games and activities designed for all ages. There are also plenty of opportunities for sledging, with dedicated runs in several villages including Arc 1800 and Arc 2000, where you can race down the slopes and enjoy classic winter fun.

You’ll find that local sports shops sell and rent sledges, so pick up your own and find the perfect spot for some family-friendly thrills. Whether it’s a gentle first ride or a competitive race between siblings, sledging is one of the easiest ways to enjoy the snow together.
