Snow Report 2 Feb 2023
The last week has been all about sunshine, clear skies at night and arctic freezing cold conditions! We’ve still been enjoying quieter slopes, but that’s all about to change as this weekend sees the start of the school holidays.
The recent snow we’ve had is holding up really well and conditions are generally good. The fact that it has been so cold means that snow cannons can run where needed.
In Les Arcs, up until Saturday the weather looks set to remain clear and sunny with temperatures warming up during the day to around +1-3°C. From Saturday we see some clouds rolling in and then Sunday light snow showers are forecast with maybe a little more on Tuesday, although this is harder to predict as still 5 days away. From Sunday the temperatures take a dive again and it will become much colder down to between -7°C to -14°C for the next few days.

The school holidays begin this weekend around Europe which means the slopes will be busier during February. This makes it even more important to observe the Ten Rules of Ski Safety. We're never too experienced to refresh ourselves on how to stay safe on the piste. Remember to make your children aware of skiing safely too - watch the great FIS video in our article with your kids.

There will be plenty of activities and events in Les Arcs during February, including family entertainment, torchlight descents and fireworks.
