Located at the top of the Villards gondola in Arc 1800, within the celebrated La Folie Douce après-ski and gourmet hotspot, La Fruitière serves delicious modern dishes based on traditional flavours.

In the old days, “Fruitière” described a dairy co-operative, mainly producing cheese. This contemporary restaurant has been largely inspired by this traditional mountain way of life, offering creative cuisine that revisits local dishes without distorting them and giving pride of place to local products in an authentic and original manner.

Their menu features local and regional produce ingeniously brought to the table by head Chef Franck Mischler and his team. Some of the highlights on offer include homemade duck foie gras, special Monsieur Yves Papin's oysters, classic 100% beef steak tartar, roasted leg of lamb or the traditional Fruitière tiramisu. They also serve daily 'plat du jour' and roast specials, as well as a selection of vegetarian dishes.

This is not the only restaurant available at La Folie Douce. La Petite Cuisine serves local favourites in a canteen-style space. And at Le Butcher, you can enjoy a quick but tasty lunch; choosing from burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, paninis, crepes, waffles and a lot more.

After lunch, enjoy one of La Folie Douce's famous parties. Every day, the best performers, dancers, musicians and DJs gather on the terrace of this hot spot for a cabaret show and, from 15:00, La Folie Douce turns into a club for the ultimate après-ski experience.

Le Butcher at La Folie Douce in Les Arcs serves up quick, tasty burgers, sandwiches and snacks right on the slopes. Ideal for a speedy lunch before heading back to the ski runs or joining the lively party on the terrace, it caters to both eat-in and takeaway guests. With its energetic atmosphere and prime location, Le Butcher is a favourite spot to enjoy good food while soaking up the buzz of one of Les Arcs’ most vibrant après-ski destinations.

Le Butcher is the go-to spot at La Folie Douce for a quick and satisfying bite without missing a beat on the mountain. This casual terrace-side restaurant focuses on quality fast food, with a small but well-crafted menu of burgers, sandwiches and sweet treats. Burgers are the highlight, with options like the bacon cheeseburger, chicken Caesar burger or veggie bhaji burger, all served with crispy fries and coleslaw. You can enjoy your meal on the spacious terrace with views of the slopes or take it away if you're keen to keep skiing.

While Le Butcher is perfect for a fuss-free lunch, La Folie Douce also offers other dining options including La Fruitière for a refined sit-down experience and La Petite Cuisine for hearty Alpine favourites in a self-service setup. After lunch, the terrace comes to life with live DJs, musicians and performers – the daily cabaret and après-ski party are what La Folie Douce is famous for. 3. La Folie Douce - La Petite Cuisine Restaurant

La Petite Cuisine is La Folie Douce's gourmet-quality, canteen-style restaurant. They serve a perfect mix of high-class local cuisine in a friendly, family atmosphere.

Located at the top of the Villards gondola, it is a great choice for lunch for skiers and pedestrians alike! Their wholesome menu includes regional favourites made with local produce and lovingly prepared in the knowing ways of yesteryear. Think generous servings of salad, pizza, quiche, grilled meat, pasta and homemade desserts, as well as daily specials (including a soup and a 'plat du jour'). The quality cuisine is served in a chic and atypical setting, with the interior boasting a mix of authentic wood and contemporary materials.

This is not the only restaurant available at La Folie Douce. La Fruitière serves contemporary cuisine with a menu designed by Chef Franck Mischler. At Le Butcher, you can enjoy a quick but tasty lunch; choose from burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, paninis, crepes, waffles and a lot more.

4. Le Chic Mama Restaurant

This family-run restaurant is close to the pistes is a perfect stop-off for an easy lunch or a cosy dinner.

On the small menu you'll surely find something to please, with a selection of meat and vegetarian options, as well as local Savoyarde favourites including sharing fondues, raclette and tartiflette. Not forgetting the enticing home-made tarts and desserts to finish.

Each day you'll also be offered a new menu du jour, with a simple and affordable two-course menu selected by the chef.

5. Casa Mia Restaurant

Home-made pizzas, pastas and risottos served in generous quantities in a friendly atmosphere.

Enjoy the excellent and varied pizza menu in the restaurant or to take-away, but the cosy restaurant interior and friendly staff will surely entice you in. Their pizzas are generously topped with quality ingredients, including burrata, sundried tomatoes, and traditional Italian Parma ham.

Also on the menu are delicious Italian pasta and gnocci dishes, and you can also find Savoyarde favourites, such as the traditional fondue, and French classics include beef tartare.

Open all afternoon for lunch and dinner from midday to 22:00. Able to accommodate groups, booking recommended.

La Popote in Arc 1800 boldly claims to serve the best burgers in town, and its many fans would agree. This diner-style spot offers a tempting menu of burgers, hot dogs and bretzels, all served with generous portions and classic flair. Perfect for a quick bite between runs or a more relaxed sit-down treat, La Popote combines hearty, satisfying food with a friendly, casual atmosphere, making it a favourite destination for both locals and visitors in the heart of the resort.

It’s a small space with a proper American diner feel, so grab a table if you can or go for a speedy takeaway instead. Leave room for something sweet; the chocolate bretzel with Nutella is a winner, or check the board for the dessert of the day.

Benji’s in Les Arcs 1800 is a lively, no-nonsense spot serving Tex-Mex dishes, juicy steaks and hearty burgers right by the piste. Its sunny terrace is ideal for a relaxed lunch or a refreshing après-ski drink while soaking up the mountain views. With generous portions, a welcoming pub-style atmosphere and a convenient location, Benji’s is a favourite for skiers and snowboarders looking for satisfying food, good drinks and a fun, relaxed vibe in the heart of the resort.

Benji’s is a lively piste-side spot in Les Arcs 1800 where you can tuck into hearty Tex-Mex dishes, juicy steaks and tasty burgers. Whether you’re after a filling lunch or a fun place to unwind after skiing, this buzzing restaurant bar has you covered. 

The burgers are generous and satisfying, but the menu goes well beyond, with crowd pleasers like nachos, fajitas and grilled meats. There’s a big sunny terrace for soaking up the views, and the atmosphere ramps up later in the day with happy hour, live sports and a proper après buzz. It’s more pub than posh, just good food, good drinks and good vibes.

8. Le Dream Spot Restaurant

Creole cuisine and traditional French food is what you can expect in this restaurant.

With a large terrace outside where you can soak up the sun at lunchtime and have a bite to eat, and the cosy warm interior where you can enjoy a romantic dinner it is a great spot for any occasion. This is another small place with a big reputation for excellent service, exceptionally reasonable prices and even better food and cheese. The decent selection of fondues (which include salad) are very reasonably priced, and you can pimp your sides by adding boiled potatoes and charcuterie for an extra charge.

One particular speciality is fondue served in a loaf of bread (or “Miche”) which means you can keep eating even after you have reached the bottom of the cheese crucible. Just be sure to book (often at least a day) in advance for dinner, because tables fill up quickly and the restaurant is only open during traditional meal times.

Excellent service and delicious Savoyard food make this restaurant one to try in Les Arcs 1800. 

Open every day in winter and summer from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 21:30.

This relaxed place is a great place to go for a burger or a quick bite to eat.

Serving burgers, Tex Mex, chili con carne, snacks, drinks and coffee, you can pop into this restaurant for some food at lunchtime or enjoy a speedy meal before soaking up the après fun that the bar has to offer. 

Open every day during the winter season from 10:00 to midnight.

Pasta, soups, quiches, sandwiches, pizzas, daily specials, cakes, crêpes or waffles are some of the specialities you will find on their menu. There is also a wide range of hot and cold drinks.

Due to its central location, it can be busy sometimes.

Raphael will guide you along the path of Savoy gastronomy allowing you to appreciate the rich flavours of the valley.

In their authentic chalet where the log fire crackles and the brasses shine, everything will be done for your comfort and your holiday enjoyment.

Open both winter and summer they offer a variety of dishes changing throughout the seasons, trying keep it traditional whilst utilising what the valley has to offer that season.

This restaurant serves traditional Savoyard dishes in a mountain setting decorated with wood and stone.

The cosy and warm atmosphere will be the first thing to welcome you into the restaurant. With a large dining area set on two levels and a big menu of dishes to choose from, it is a great place to go to with family and friends.

Open for lunch and dinner daily, from 12:00 to 22:00, in the summer and winter seasons.

Mamie Crepe Restaurant & Cafe, Les Arcs style of cuisine

13. Mamie Crêpe café and restaurant

This small restaurant in Les Arcs 1800 offers savoury and sweet crepes, galettes, salads as well as homemade ice creams. In winter you can also try local specialities such as fondue and raclette.

One of the oldest restaurants in Les Arcs, it boasts great reviews. As it is small, they usually have two dinner sittings in winter, and we recommend that you book in advance.

In the summer, you can enjoy the menu on their sunny terrace.

This snack bar serves fast lunches and snacks on a beautiful panoramic terrace.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, pancakes and many other snacky delights which you can enjoy on the terrace in the sunshine and watch people jib and jump in the park while taking in the beautiful views of Mont Blanc. 

A great place for the warmer months when you can sit in the sun and absorb the mountain atmosphere.

Open every day from 09:00 to the closing of the pistes.
