Vanoise Express Gets Arty Make Over From JC/DC

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is Back With Another Design for the Vanoise Express

JC/DC will be revealing a new look for the world's biggest cable car this December

Last year saw the 10th anniversary of the Vanoise Express, and to celebrate the cable car cabins got an artistic make over by French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (JC/DC to his friends).

The artwork has proven to be such a success that the world famous artist will be creating another unique design for the cabins, which is set to be revealed on Saturday 20th December during the official opening of the Paradiski ski area.

The design is safely under wraps at the moment, so be sure to check back on December when we'll have some photos for you.

Upcoming Events

Each of the Les Arcs resorts holds a number of events throughout the year. International freestyle and freeride ski competitions, film festivals and snow & music parties take place in the ski area in the winter months, in addition to the usual après-ski parties featuring live bands and DJs. The summer, on the other hand, attracts a number of trail running and cycling competitions, as well as live concerts.
