Hearty home-made cooking, with changing seasonal menus. Eat in the cosy dining area or the sunny terrace with views over the mountains.

On the menu, try out the beef smoked with juniper wood, or the lamb casserole with herbs and local Landry honey served in a casserole. Finish up with homemade ice-creams made with alpine milk or a homemade sorbets with natural fruits, or a mille-feuille on demand.

All made with quality products from local producers like the GAEC Alpin, the Fromagerie Charcuterie des Arcades and many others.

Open Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 14:00. Reservation is advised.

2. Belliou La Fumée Restaurant

Open in the winter and in the summer, this little restaurant tucked away in the mountains is a culinary delight. 

Serving local cuisine, you can enjoy the cosy and warm atmosphere of the staff, restaurant and terrace here. Dishes including seafood, meat, grills and much more.

With an outdoor terrace, swimming pool and jacuzzi, you can choose to have a drink or some nibbles have lunch or take a dip in the pool. Accessible for pedestrians via the free shuttle down to Pre Saint Esprit.

Booking is strongly recommended. Open in summer and winter every day from 12:00 to 18:00.

Worth noting is that at lunchtime most restaurants will offer a well-priced 'Plat du Jour' (dish of the day), normally consisting of locally-sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Most of the restaurants in the villages of Les Arcs are child friendly, and will have children's menus. Some restaurants are open all day and into the evening so you can have early dinner if that suits your family.
