Typically spring conditions at the moment
It's a bit of a grey-out today & more of the same tomorrow & Saturday.. where has all the sun gone?? Good news, it will be back next week!
The cloud cover does mean there's a bit more snow due overnight on Friday & Saturday though, but maybe not more than 5cm at around 2000 metres.. still some snow is better than no snow at all right??
Carole from ChaletArc has told us it's pretty bullet proof on the pistes first thing, as you'd expect this time of year, perfect in the afternoons and then a bit slushy by late on. Most of the pistes are still open, which is gerat consierding the time of year, and there aren't any stones poking out yet! Lots of people are making the most of the snowaprk and the waterslide.
On Sunday there might be a bit of drizzle as the temperatures start to warm up again, and you'll probably be needing suncream again by Monday/Tuesday. Spring is definitely coming.. with only 3 weeks left until the end of the season .. eek!
Below 1600 metres, it's actually good enough to go mountain biking at the moment.. so for those of you that didn't bring a bike, get out early & stay high to get the best of the snow! Take a look at this video from Mat Butler to see what the snow conditions are like just now..
