Chalet Edelweiss is based in the mountain village of Montchavin, a gem in the heart of Paradiski (La Plagne/Les Arcs) 425km of piste. Edelweiss is located right by the ski lift and is ski-in for most of the season…one of the best located chalets in La Plagne!
Chalet Edelweiss is in a fabulous location in Montchavin Village with stunning mountain views which light up at night. From the main living space there is a good sized balcony with a large hot tub where you can have a glass of wine whilst watching the mountains turn a beautiful sunset pink.
If Chalet Edelweiss is your home from home for the week, because you are in the village, it makes it very easy for you to come and go as you please. If you have small children it’s easy to pop back to the chalet if they need a break. Adults too! This chalet is ski in subject to snow conditions.
This contemporary chalet has been constructed in keeping with the cute cobbled alpine town in which it sits, it is a favourite chalet amongst our guests with many families and groups coming back year after year.
This chalet is laid out over 4 floors, with 6 spacious bedrooms each with a wardrobe and twin beds; a huge open-plan dining lounge area; hot tub on the balcony, with truly fabulous views.
The outstanding feature of Chalet Edelweiss is the fabulous amazing lounge-diner/kitchen on the top floor. The ceiling has been heightened to give a real feeling of space; the beautifully crafted wooden beams offer that essential alpine character of a ski chalet;
The chalet has views over the village, Tarantaise Valley towards Mont Blanc.
On the ground and first floor there are two ensuite double or twin rooms. On the second floor Edelweiss offers a great family room with the two sleeping zones are separated by a large bathroom in the centre, it not only makes it ideal for families but acts as a great space for young adults to relax in. Next to this there is a further ensuite double/twin room; so this chalet boasts SIX bedrooms sleeping 14 guests…

Edelweiss is just a few minutes’ walk from the Centre of the quaint cobbled village, where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, bakery, delicatessen, supermarket, swimming pool complex and lift pass office.

Situated at the top of the Transarc gondola in Arc 2000, the “Grotte de Glace” is quite an extraordinary place to visit. Dozens of sculptors from all over Europe spend a week here at the start of each season, carving wonderfully exotic figures out of the snow and ice.

Les Arcs golf course has 18 holes with open parkland and mountain scenery. Undulating terrain with several slopes to climb.
Nestled in a compact balcony overlooking the Haute Tarentaise valley, with docile greens facing Mont Blanc, the Alp's highest mountain will leave all with a lifelong impression of this gorgeous combination parkland/mountain course.
At the bottom of the Vallandry lift, next to the ESF office, is the Vallandry lift pass office.
Opposite the Vanoise Express cable car and at the bottom of the Peisey chairlift is the lift pass office, next to the ESF office
In the centre of Les Arcs and close to the Teleseige de la Vagere is one of the two lift pass offices ins Arc 1800.
At the front of the slopes at Place du Charvet is one of the lift pass offices in Les Arcs 1800.
In the centre of Les Arcs 1600, at the Place Haute, is the lift pass office.
Just by the funiculare in Bourg St Maurice, you can purchase lift passes for Les Arcs and the Paradiski ski area.
Plan Peisey and Vallandry are two interconnected villages providing easy access to the Paradiski ski area via the Vanoise Express and local lifts. The villages feature a mix of traditional apartments, hotels and chalets, all in a picturesque, family-friendly setting. Free shuttle buses make getting around simple, while the peaceful atmosphere suits those focused on skiing rather than nightlife.
The largest of the Les Arcs villages, Arc 1800 is made up of four interconnected pedestrianised areas. It offers excellent ski access, a lively atmosphere, a variety of accommodation and plenty of off-slope activities. Ideal for families, groups or couples who want to be at the centre of the action.
The original Les Arcs village, Arc 1600 sits at the base of the slopes just minutes from Bourg Saint Maurice. Pedestrian-friendly and well connected, it offers a range of accommodation, restaurants and bars, with ski lifts and schools right from the village centre. Perfect for beginners and seasoned skiers alike.
Bourg St Maurice acts as a local hub for events, transport and commerce. It's the year-round beating heart of the Les Arcs area, boasting a train station which not only links to the mountainside resorts by a rapidly-ascending funicular railway but also provides international connections such as the direct rail route to London. There are regular events throughout the year and innumerable places to eat, drink and shop.
Arc 1950 is the most recently built Les Arcs resort, a car-free pedestrianised village with ski-in ski-out accommodation. Ideal for families, it combines modern comfort with alpine charm and offers cafés, restaurants and bars, plus a short walk or gondola to neighbouring Arc 2000 for extra entertainment and facilities.
Arc 2000 is the highest village in Les Arcs, offering unbeatable access to snow-sure slopes and the Aiguille Rouge freeride area. Compact yet efficient, it provides large self-catering apartments and chalets with ski-in ski-out convenience. The village is quieter at night, ideal for those prioritising skiing and mountain activities.
