One of the last remaining authentic mountain huts in the valley, the location of this chalet is as charming as the property itself, being nestled in a secluded area on the picturesque hillside, with the piste only a 500m walk away and the télécabine less so.
Combining modern living with traditional features, this mountain hut has been designed inside in a traditional Savoyard style with local wood floor to ceiling, a stone flagged floor and decorative touches.
As soon as you enter the property you are in the cosy open plan ground floor which is where the living/dining room is. Here you will find comfy sofas and a large centrally located stone and wooden fireplace, which offers the perfect place to curl up with a good book or enjoy an aperitif whilst you simply watch the snow fall as the staff prepare your evening meal. A wooden dining table with 6 dining chairs sits next to the open plan corner kitchen area. A staircase leads up to bedrooms on the top floor.
Free wifi is provided.
Chalet staff live out.
The neighbourhood
The village of 1800 is probably the busiest of the Les Arcs' villages and the largest. This is where the majority of the locals are based. Although the buildings aren't as pretty as 1950, there is still a certain charm to be found in a village made entirely out of wood. There are two main villages Le Charvet and Les Villards. There is a wide range of shops and restaurants in both villages and everything is walking distance. There is also the new apartment village called Edenarc with larger chalet style apartments. Out of all the Les Arcs villages 1800 has the best views of the valley, which means the best sunsets too.
A dining experience like no other! A spectacular and unique 180m2 ice grotto, bar, restaurant and mini hotel in Les Arcs, where you'll enjoy a typical Savoyard cheese fondue or aperitif in a unique setting.

Arc 1800 truly has it all. Consisting of four intertwined high-altitude villages, it gives superlative access to the pistes and trails of Les Arcs whilst featuring a large number of stand-alone attractions, great nightlife and a well-populated annual calendar of events.
Les Arcs 1600
Located 2.3 km away
Arc 1600 is also one of the smallest of the villages. Despite recent large-scale developments, it retains its quaint ‘local’ feel and provides excellent access to the rest of the mountain and Bourg St Maurice in the valley.
Les Arcs 1950
Located 3.3 km away
Developed by the same company as Whistler in Canada, Arc 1950 is an exceptionally pretty, compact, high-altitude village just below Arc 2000. It feels like a Disney set, with the whole resort completely pedestrianised and car free. In fact, you can ski right through the centre during the winter. With all the accommodation (and shops and restaurants) allowing ski-in-ski-out access to the pistes, it's absolutely ideal for a winter break.
Les Arcs 2000
Located 3.7 km away
Arc 2000 is, perhaps unfairly, considered one of the least pretty resorts in Les Arcs. Whilst the surrounding landscape is typically spectacularly beautiful, the village itself is not the most aesthetically-pleasing. It is, however, surprisingly compact and therefore very effective as both a winter and summer resort.
Peisey-Vallandry
Located 4.2 km away
Although the Peisey-Vallandry resort is officially a pair of villages, Plan Peisey and Vallandry, they are completely joined up, with the only major indication of a schism being the existence of two separate snow fronts.
Bourg St Maurice
Located 4.9 km away
Bourg St Maurice acts as a local hub for events, transport and commerce. It's the year-round beating heart of the Les Arcs area, boasting a train station which not only links to the mountainside resorts by a rapidly-ascending funicular railway but also provides international connections such as the direct rail route to London. There are regular events throughout the year and innumerable places to eat, drink and shop.
